Healthier Chicken Wings

When you want to indulge in chicken wings but want to make them at least a little bit healthier, here is a tip.

I made these tonight. And what I did is boiled them in water first for about 5 minutes or so until they were done and a lot of the fat was boiled off.

Then I marinated them in a homemade teriayki sauce I made and then later cooked the in the oven at 350 degrees until they were as crispy and as gooey as I wanted them.

Basic Hack

So basically boil off the fat, season the wings with salt and pepper and sauce of your choice and then cook in the oven on a sheet pan or cookie sheet until they are the way you like them. You can even put the broiler feature on in your oven at the near end to really crisp them up and then toss a little more sauce on them to finish them off.
