I think that there is a lot of insight into life in general in this interview, so the information is applicable to anyone, but in particular to people who are dealing with chronic illness, pain, suffering, maybe a scary diagnoses, living a fearful life, and all of those struggles that we, as human beings, deal with in life.

Be Determined to LIVE Your Life – TODAY!!!

I have a little saying on my fridge. It says, in my own handwriting.

“What is the point of livin the life if we don’t live the life?”

Now you might think that is silly but it works for me. When I see this and walk past it, it instantly reminds me to do the things that mean the most to me! Life is meant to be lived and that means NOW.

TODAY is the day to rejoice in the day. TODAY is the day to squeeze as much JOY out of as you can. TODAY is the day! TODAY, TODAY, TODAY! YAY FOR TODAY!

Just remember none of us is promised tomorrow so TODAY is the day!

Dealing With Anxious Thoughts

“You don’t have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you”. Dan Millman

You might be thinking the above statement is an impossible feat, but I encourage you to think of thoughts in another way and it might be helpful for you.

Thoughts Are Things

We often say that “thoughts are things” and it is true. So if this is indeed true and thoughts are just things just like a coffee cup is a thing, a laptop is a thing, a t-shirt is a thing, etc. etc.

So with that said, if things are things, we may have things in our lives, but we don’t become our things.

Instead we USE our things. We use the coffee cup to drink coffee, or water, or tea, or to drink whatever we decide from it.

We wear the t-shirt but we don’t become obsessed with the t-shirt. We use it for a purpose and we take it off when we want to or when we are done using it for the day.

Therefore, if we looked at thoughts more as things that we can use for what we choose, just like the coffee cup, or the t-shirt we can take them off when we don’t want to think them anymore, just like the t-shirt.

Or in kind, like the laptop we can use our thoughts to formulate sentences, paragraphs, or even entire stories just like a laptop and its programs have the power to do!!

You get the idea here. USE your thoughts (the things) for your highest good and stop using them when they are no longer serving your or causing you pain.

CHOOSE New Thoughts!

The easiest way to pivot your thoughts is to divert them to new ones…. just like things. If you were wearing a t-shirt and spilled something on it, you would go and change it!

So change your thoughts to new ones!

#lifeonpurpose #liveonpurpose

This morning a friend of mine made an engaging post in her FB group that went something like this “Where would you like to spend more time this Sunday?” And I answered: “Exactly where I am. I’ve purposely set my life up this way.” ๐Ÿ™‚

This got me thinking about how I am so glad that in my lifetime I have gotten very clear on what I have wanted and what brings me JOY and to go for that!

As a Life Coach I encourage people to do this. Many times, fear is what stops people and the list of ‘what ifs’ gets them every time. I encourage them to not worry about the what ifs and to get clear on the why nots?

This brings me to another thought around the fear of going after what you want in life. I do not believe in mistakes. I see everything as choices and after choosing if I feel that choice is not bringing me JOY or meeting the need of my desire, I can then re-choose. No mistakes, just experiences to learn from and to launch me on to the next adventure ๐Ÿ™‚

What about YOU?

I hope you take some time today to reflect on where you are in your life and are you happy there? Is there a goal that you have that you have put on the back burner or maybe even shelved permanently?

Ask yourself without excuses or what ifs, if this is still important to you and if the answer is YES then declare your desire of it, smile with JOY, and let the universe start to give you the prompts and show you the way. It always does.

It is our job to get clear on what we want. We don’t have to worry about the what ifs or the hows, our job is to declare and get clear and then watch the magic happen. ๐Ÿ™‚

Be Fearless

When I saw this quote the other day, I KNEW that it was a keeper! I absolutely love it!

What I really like about it is that you could exchange the word ‘fear’ for other words and it still works.

For example: “Your happiness is 100% dependent on you for its survival.” ๐Ÿ™‚

“Your JOY is 100% dependent on you for its survival.”

And sure other people can bring us JOY and happiness but if we cannot receive or see it, WE stop ourselves from experiencing it.

As for the fear one, just reading this quote and pondering on it brings me freedom. I do not have to let fear live in my mind rent free! I can got off its source of energy.

One of the best ways to shift from fear is to focus on love and gratitude. This instantly helps one to start shifting from vibrating at the level of fear and to start to move up the emotional and energetic ladder.

There are times in life when we need more strength than at other times. There are moments in life when we need support. There are times in life when we feel our soul is struggling.

When we are in these challenging times in life, we are usually in a frequency of fear and fear unfortunately, can choke out or dim our light.

I would like to share a poem today written by my honey just four days ago.

Love Is Light, Fear Is Darkness

Life is meant to be lived.

LIVE means to be ALIVE!

You are either alive or dead.

The opposite of life is death.

You can not serve two opposites.

You are either loving the light or fearing the darkness.

I love Don’s poem because it reminds me to go for the light and to live in ฤนโ“ž๐“ฅไน‡. Fear does not serve us well and it does not support us in living life to our fullest, and in the most alive way. Fear is also not conducive to our immune system.

I choose to be ALIVE. What about you? ๐Ÿ™‚

Letting Go of Fear & Learning How to Live!

I think most of us spend a lot of our life trying to let go of fears. Whether they are fears of inadequacy or fear on the unknown, fears are very much a part of our life.

When I think of ‘life’, I think of creation and expansion. I think of freedom. I think of choice. I think of living fearlessly. ๐Ÿ™‚

The more we can choose to truly ‘live’ our lives, the more we can choose the freedom to be who we are in all our Glory and to live without fear.

One of the ways to let go of fear, is to focus on the JOYS of life, rather than the fears. For example if you have a passion for something but fear stop you, learn to emphasize the JOYS rather than the fears.

For example, if you have a fear of public speaking or for speaking your truth in general, focus on how passionate you are about your subject. Get excited about the subject matter rather than focusing on the delivery of the subject matter. When you do this, you will naturally find it easier to share your truth or your words or your story because you take the attention off of merely delivering the info and you become excited about the information itself.

When we get caught up obsessing on the fears, we miss the whole point of what we were passionate about.

The more we can overcome our fears, the faster we accelerate at achieving the lives of our dreams.

Worry Less & ๐ฟโค๐“‹๐‘’ ๐‘€๐ŸŒบ๐“‡๐‘’

Anytime we are in fear we are not in the frequency of ‘Love’. Worry stems from fear. There are two emotions that all others emotions spring from and these are ‘Fear’ and ‘Love’.

Worry is from the side of FEAR and when we worry about others we project fear and worry onto them as well. Sometimes we worry about things that might happen and this also just causes unnecessary fearful thoughts.

Energy in Motion

The very BEST thing that we can do for ourselves or our loved ones, is to try our best to think thoughts of ๐ฟ๐Ÿ’—๐“‹๐‘’ and well-being.๐ŸŒž And it is interesting to note that E-Motions are หœโ€ยฐโ€ข.หœโ€ยฐโ€ข Energy In Motion. โ€ขยฐโ€หœ.โ€ขยฐโ€หœ Energy in motion is a powerful force. We want that force to be positive and conducive.

Think about this for a minute and see if you agree with me. Was there a time or is there a time now when someone that cares about you has told you that they are or were worried about you? Or have they constantly nagged at you about something? How do you or did you feel?

Did you feel heavy, sad, or remorseful? I bet you felt some form of these fear based emotions.

The best thing we can do to support others is to do it through Love. It is okay to want the best for others but there are ways to support and offer to ‘hold space’ for someone that is better than worrying and thinking fearful thoughts.

I can remember the exact moments in my life when people have told me that they were worried about me and why. I loved these people dearly but at times these moments felt like sucker punches to my soul. I have also realized that I too have done this to others so even in writing this I am reminded to try harder to be more loving and supportive in my thinking and approaches when sharing concern.

Worry Breeds Worry

The very best thing we can do for anyone is to hold them in the light and to see them through the eyes of Love. Worry breeds worry and fear breeds fear. It is a fact. Let us choose Love and have Love attract more Love and Light and Healing.

There Are NO Mistakesโข – Worry Not! โ™ฅโ˜ฎโ™ฅ

A mistake is just another way of doing things.

I like to think there are no mistakes. Everything that we experience is just that … an experience. We experience something and then we choose and decide if we wish to experience it again.

I like to think of these ‘experiences’ as gifts to show me what I no longer want in my life or what I want to add more of into my life. Pretty simple right? โ™ฅ And it is. โ™ฅ

The least amount of time we spend living with regret or remorse, the more time we have to fast track in the things we want and that bring us more โ™ฅ JOY โ™ฅ

I know it is not always easy, especially when we are in fear or emotional pain, but I think by even declaring or understanding this concept, it helps. At least it does for me and I hope it does for you too.
