Why Happiness?

The question is why not happiness? ๐Ÿ™‚

Happiness is our birthright and is really an underlying desire of most people.

For example when we desire things for other people like our children, we are really wanting them to just be happy……like wanting them to graduate from a good school, or to land a great job, underneath it all, what we really, really want is for them to be happy.

We want this for ourselves too. When we can show our children that we are happy, we teach them that happiness is natural. Many people today feel that happiness is some far away and unreachable place, and that is unfortunate.

โ€œThere is no way to happiness.ย Happinessย is theย way.โ€

Thich Nhat Hanh

I highly recommend putting happiness on your daily check list. What are some things that you can do to increase your happiness so that you are happier and you infuse the natural art of happiness into those around your too?

Some ideas:

. laugh at yourself

. laugh at life

. watch funny movies

. have a conversation with an upbeat friend who likes to joke and laugh

. make happiness a goal

. seek happiness (what you seek seeks you)

. show kindness toward others.. this always infuses happiness within us

. spend time with young children

. do art

. go skinny dipping

. walk in nature

. gaze at the stars

The list is endless. Do whatever helps to make you happy and happier. Do the things that bring you JOY!

I wish you nothing but happiness…. til next time.

(ใฃโ—”โ—กโ—”)ใฃ โ™ฅ Sweetness โ™ฅ ๐Ÿฌ Too Cute Not To Share!

So Sweet!

Today my daughter Sivanna, who is now 14, shared with me a paragraph she wrote for one of her online class assignments.

Aria is 4 and is Sivanna’s great niece.

Princess Aria

This is what Sivanna had to say to the question “What is something that always puts a file on your face?”

Sivanna’s answer:

“Something that always puts a smile on my face is Aria. Aria is my 4 year old great niece. Every time I see her, her face lights up. Whenever she sees me she has a huge smile on her face and runs up to me and gives me a big hug. That always makes me smile. She is always so cute and whatever she does makes me smile. Whether the way she talks or when she dances, or how she is so sweet and shares with me. Everything she does makes me smile and I love her. But I can’t see her right now because of quarantine.”ย

โ™ฅ I thought this was so sweet. โ™ฅ

While I was looking for Aria’s picture for this blog post, I found one of when my Sivanna Rose was little. So cute too!
