Healing With JOY Affirmations

Affirmations are not only powerful but they WORK! What I love most about affirmations is that they are ‘reminders’. This is why I like to keep them handy and to go back and read them…. to remind me and to remember that I and YOU are all-powerful! Affirmations are assistants for us. They are tools in our kit!

You can read the written affirmations here below. I also both share them and discuss their power in this 3 minute audio as well. Here is the link for that:

Listen to The Gifts of Pain!

“Those pains you feel are messengers…. Listen to them.” Rumi

Pain Is a Doorway

Pain. Pain and suffering are inevitable things that we will experience here on Earth, regardless of how much we wish to avoid it.

I try to look at pain as a prompt especially if it’s emotional pain. What is this pain telling me? What is the message? Is there something that I want to be doing that I’m not? Am I fulfilled in my life, or is there something I feel that I am missing? Am I feeling overwhelmed? Under appreciated? What do I really want?

The questions that you can ask are endless but I encourage you to probe and search to see the message that pain has for you. And sometimes when our pain is physical it’s a prompt to make changes or to have more self care. There are always messages behind pain and suffering.

I’m going to do a voice audio right now to explain a little more about how we question ourselves and access our inner guide which is as a tool for higher insight. I will post the link below and be sure to have a great day everyone!

A Delightful Surprise

What JOY!

A week ago on a Friday night my hubby and I were enJOYing our date night at our Little Lake House on the shores of Lake Superior, when out of the blue some delightful carolers appeared on our back deck. Some I knew and some I did not. This turned out to be a specially planned event and it was beautiful indeed!

We opened the patio door and I sat on a chair inside with a blanket while they sang three songs to us. 1) Silent Night 2) Love Is Christmas and 3) Let It Snow.

They were all beautiful. I had tears streaming down my face for silent night and I loved the 2nd song “Love Is Christmas”. I had never heard that before. My Dad always loved “Silent Night” and that made it extra special. And of course “Let It Snow” is always great!

The whole experience was deeply moving but the most touching part of the experience was to see the kindness and compassion in each person’s eyes as they sang to me. It is a moment I will never forget and I will cherish always.

Thank you to these beautiful souls for this gift that I will always cherish.

Cherish Life, Creativity, Imagination, Joy

It Is All Make-Believe….

“Life is just a playground and a place for make-believe”.

โœฟ Come Play With Me ๐Ÿ™‚ โœฟ

Every once in awhile I like to remind myself of this because I really believe it and I’ve even written about it before!

Have Fun! Be Creative! Color Outside The Lines!

We are here on earth to create, to have fun and to find JOY amidst all of the struggles we face. This is where the true fun is.

And when you remember this and you let your creative fun self out, channels open up that you would have never imagined! ( and please note imagination is very important in play and make-believe )….

I think the most important piece of the puzzle is to remember that if we make it all up, we can make up ‘good stuff’. Why on earth would we pick the stuff that does not make us feel good to do or to play? Like right now I am going to wrap up this post and go work in my kitchen and try some new recipes on my Sunday afternoon that is focused on self-care. This will bring me great JOY and health benefits that will be helpful for my body, mind and soul!

I hope that you go and ‘make-up’ your day and use your imagination to feel your passions. Have FUN and please be in JOY!

Love to all!

Just One Letter Makes A Difference

I have been so excited to write this blog post! I could hardly wait in fact!

I have been sharing my new discovery with a few people and they were all WOWED by it so now I want to share it with everyone!

How this came to be is that one day I was thinking about my ‘full-time’ job of protocols that I am doing daily for my healing journey with my diagnosis of colon cancer. I thought to myself this is like a JOB. And then it hit me!…………..

I can’t think of this like a job and in that instant I had the vision of these two words: JOB and JOY!

And in that moment I knew that the only difference between the two was ONE LETTER!

It does not matter whether we are referring to a job, working at something, a project, a hobby, a healing protocol, or doing our taxes, it applies to all of it. We have to CHOOSE!

We have to CHOOSE! JOB or JOY?

One letter changes everything.

Not that there is anything wrong with the word job or in having a job, it is just that we often look at ‘jobs’ as work and something that is hard or tedious and that really puts the brakes on in our energetic field. And things just don’t flow like they should!

We must always have JOY in what we do and if we just can’t muster up the JOY to do our taxes because we see it like a JOB like I do lol, that is when we get someone else to do the things we don’t enJOY and we focus on the ones that we do enJOY. Personally I LOVE paying people for products and services that I need. It makes me HAPPY to do so. And if it is not in the budget to get people to do those ‘jobs’ that you don’t want to do, barter! Bartering is a great way to help others and yourself too! We can share our gifts and JOYs that way too!

But no matter what it is, when you shift from JOB to JOY the whole game changes. As for my healing protocol, I not only changed from JOB to JOY, I took it to the next level and turned it into EXCITEMENT! I am excited about my healing journey. I am embracing it and that makes is sooo much easier!

This shifting of one little letter was very refreshing for me to discover and I hope that you find this helpful too! ๐Ÿ™‚

Empowered, Joy

A New Twist on JOY!

Just Own Yourself

There is freedom in owning who you are and what you want in life. There is nothing better than feeling personally empowered. This is JOY!

The more that you embrace your true self and honor that, the more the JOY!

I hope that you find this true JOY in your life and live it every day! ๐Ÿ™‚

Joy, Pain & Suffering

The Messages in Pain & Suffering

“These pains you feel are messengers. Listen to them.” Rumi

What better to way to expand on this than with another Rumi quote:

โ€œThrough Love all that is bitter will be sweet, through Love all that is copper will be gold, through Love all dregs will become wine, through Love all pain will turn to medicine.โ€ โ€“ Rumi

In life we cannot and will not escape pain and suffering but what we can do is take the messages from our experiences and turn them into catalysts to project us toward more JOY and BEAUTY and greater LOVE.

The greater the suffering, the greater the JOY on the other side. I have experienced great suffering in my life but I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt, it has shown me that when life is sweet, it becomes even sweeter….. but it has been the pain that has shown me this. Yes the GIFT of pain!

Right now, many of us are in more pain and fear than ever before and it is understandable but it is also an opportunity. It is an opportunity to take the messages from our pain and fear and cast them upon the sweetness. The darkest depth of despair also brings to light what is beautiful and also is a doorway for our heart’s expansion.

Once again, a Rumi quote comes to mind:

โ€œThe wound is the place where the light gets inโ€

Rumi

I encourage you to see your pain in a different light and to make it ‘light’ and easy. Ask your pain what messages are there for you to use as stepping stones to bringing more JOY and more JOYous moments into the precious time that is left for you here on your earthly journey. ๐Ÿ™‚

In Love & Light and with a Light Heart…..

Maggie
