free will, Joy

Absolute Freedom

“The basis of your life is absolute freedom, the goal is joy, and the result of that perfect combination is motion forward, or growth. Your goal is to find objects of attention that let your cork raise.” Jerry & Esther Hicks, 1997

I received this quote in my email this morning and I really resonated with it. When I see the words ‘absolute freedom’ that appeals to me. ๐Ÿ™‚

My goal in life is to live in JOY. I love freedom and I love JOY!

I think that the greatest gift that we have is in fact free-will and that is freeing in itself.

I personally, am very selective as to what information I access. For example, in my work as a wellness advocate and a Board Certified Nutritionist, I know that I can find a study on just about anything. So what I am referring to is that I can find information to prove just about any point and so can anyone.

So what’s my point right now? My point is that I bring to ME information and objects of desire that bring me JOY! Because I get it!

I could spend my day proving to myself with information out there, how terrible the world is or I can prove to myself how beautiful and JOYous the world is and I choose the latter.

In my playground of life I want fun times baby! I am wasting no time in suffering unless I don’t have a choice. I know there are times in life when pain and suffering happen to us because that is life, but in the moments in between I am riding the JOY train! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day everyone and I hope you too ride the train of JOY in your life too!

Why Not UNchoose?

Maggie, no matter the temptation, you no longer think or say, “I’m anxious,” “I’m hurt,” or “I’m angry.” Because each of these feelings are choices, that can be unchosen, instead of reinforced. And you will be amazed,   The Universe This was my beautiful note from the Universe the other morning and I quite loved it.โ€ฆ

The Past is Real or is it?

Good morning everyone! I wanted to share with you how I felt when I read these words from Byron Katie. But before I do, just to share some good news, I figured out another technological hack and here is the audio link from SoundCloud which is exactly the same verbal content as this written blogโ€ฆ

Free Spirit, free will

(ใฃโ—”โ—กโ—”)ใฃ โ™ฅ FREE Will โ™ฅ (ใฃโ—”โ—กโ—”)ใฃ

I Lโ™ฅOโ™ฅVโ™ฅE FREE Will! Love, Love, Love it!

“Where there’s a will, there’s a way”. This was one of my mother’s favorite sayings and for good reason. She very much believed in the opportunities that life had to offer and in going for them. She was an encourager and a believer in people.

I don’t know about you, but as I age, I seem to have more profound wisdom when it comes to thoughts around things or concepts. And lately it has been around the words ‘FREE Will’. You will note that I keep putting the word FREE in capital letters. This is because I do indeed want to emphasize the word FREE!!!!

FREE Will means that we are FREE to choose things and thoughts are things so we can even choose our thoughts about things, people, places, events, and the list is endless.

I was inspired by words from Anita Moorjani on the concept of forgiveness and it reminded me of the power of FREE Will.

From Anita:

“Also, my NDE (Near Death Experience) taught me a lot about forgiveness and relating to others. In my NDE state I knew the love for myself was unconditional and that I was one with everybody. I also realised that if people hurt me or are rude to me I do not need to forgive them. There is nothing to forgive because when people hurt others they do it out of their own pain. Or if we perceive hurt when there was no intention of hurting us then we are perceiving hurt out of our own pain. If, however, I love myself unconditionally and remember we are all part of the same whole, then it is so easy to love others unconditionally because they are all part of the same whole too, and forgiving others is the same as forgiving myself. So, to sum up: if we live our lives from a place of total acceptance for self and unconditional love of self, it is easier to live in a place of unconditional love and acceptance of others.”

When I read Anita’s words it made me think that this too is FREE Will. We can choose to be hurt or offended or we can simply choose to NOT be. We have that FREE Will that costs us nothing to use it… it’s FREE! Wow. Eureka. I can choose to be in pain and suffer or I can choose to use my FREE Will and NOT be in pain and suffering. Don’t you just love it?

Even when it comes to witnessing the pain of the world, we can choose to be pained or angered or we can use our FREE Will and NOT be. Wowsa. I’m in love this!

So I guess it comes down to what kind of ride you want around this circuit called life? Like the old saying goes do you want to be happy or to be right? Do you want to feel pain and feel that you have been wronged or do you want to use your FREE Will and FREE yourself because YOU have the power to do it! WE have the power to do this by choosing and using our FREE Will. ๐Ÿ™‚
