I truly believe that JOY is our birthright. I believe that we are on earth to experience JOY and to enJOY being JOYous beings.
One of the easiest ways to access JOY is through beauty and appreciating beauty. It can be as simple as your favorite cup or as big as travelling to an exotic place to see the ocean’s view for the first time.
Beauty is all around us and we can see it when we look. (ใฃโโกโ)ใฃ
I am at my cottage enJOYing the fall and the peacefulness of this quiet time of year out here. I was putting away the camp journals and was delighted to find this note I had put in the box that holds the journals.
What a fantastic reminder I thought, especially that this reminder came from Anne Frank. If you do not know who Anne Frank was, I found a blog post online that explains who she was. Here is the link.
I remember reading this book when I was a young girl. I find it so interesting to see that Anne was the exact same Life Path number in numerology that I am. A 30/3 or a 3. Threes are known to be optimistic, have large amounts of creative self-expression, great communicators, and are uplifting to others. This definitely describes Anne. Imagine that she could write a quote like this when was in hiding during the Holocaust.
Anne’s words remind us that we can always find beauty in life, We can always find the goodness. We simply need to look for it.

This summer I have had the pleasure of witnessing many beautiful sunrises, sunsets and stars that took my breath away.
For me, every time I gaze up at the starry sky I am reminded that this is where I come from. I feel a part of the entire universe in that moment.
I have a goal of learning night photography so I can capture the beauty of what my naked eyes sees and also what a camera is able to capture and my eye is not.
So often in life we search outside of ourselves for things to make us happy and then one day many of us realize that the things that were always there are the ones that make us most happy, like a sunrise, sunset or the stars.
What about you? What takes your breath away? What takes you to that place of feeling one with all that is?
I hope you find these beautiful moments in your life too. And the cool thing is that the more you find them, the more they appear, which is awesome!
I am in Denver, Colorado and today I was out exploring. I found the architecture and the buildings simply jaw dropping and I will be making a blog post to share some of those pictures, but in this post I wanted to share this one picture. I was taking a picture of a church with a tall building behind it and this is what ended up being captured. I thought it was pretty awesome!

Or how deep your rapture would in turn capture my soul.
I now long and yearn for you when together or apart.
You share with me your beauty.
And it goes straight to my heart.
You show me your many faces.
All of which are unique and pleasing to the eye.
I now know why artists listen to your waves and point their cameras in your midst.
You are relentless in your offerings of beauty and divine prowess.
Your treasures are timeless and the delight you offer is legendary.
Oh how my soul thanks you!
