anxiety, Pain & Suffering, The Past

The Past is Real or is it?

Good morning everyone! I wanted to share with you how I felt when I read these words from Byron Katie.

But before I do, just to share some good news, I figured out another technological hack and here is the audio link from SoundCloud which is exactly the same verbal content as this written blog post. So one can listen in audio format or they can read or both ๐Ÿ™‚

Listen to Reality Is Always A Story of The Past.m4a by Maggie Holbik on #SoundCloud
https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/k7Wcy

Byron Katie works a lot with thoughts, and she calls it ‘The Work.’ So this quote of her says, ‘reality is always the story of a past.’

Reality is always the story of a past. I just love that! I say it this way however, ‘Reality is a story of the past.’

The reason I love this concept, is because I’ve been saying for years in my lectures, and in my coaching work, that the past is really just what we say it is!!!

We all have had experiences in our lives. We all BELIEVE that we have indeed had these experiences, and that they are true and real for us. And we SAY they are and that they are reality….. or at least our reality ๐Ÿ˜‰

What I find super interesting and fascinating is you can take several people, and ask them all individually about a situation in the past and receive a different version of the so-called Reality.

So let’s say for example, it was a family event or a Christmas dinner many years ago, and you have a group of siblings, and they start sharing about that Christmas dinner in say the year 2005, or whatever or whenever it was. These people will all, and I’ve seen this over and over again, these people will ALL have different versions of that story! And they might even get into a little push and shove match or a little arguing about who’s right or who’s wrong. And the reality is, who is really right?

My suggestion is, they are ALL right!!! They are ALL correct!!! Their story IS their reality. They have created that reality for themselves!

It is really powerful when we understand this, because this can free us from pain. If we look at our past and we say our reality was painful, and that we are triggered from the past, and that this or that has happened to us in the past, and we reflect on it, we end up making that reality we’ve created even bigger and bigger, and bolder and more and more vibrant! It then becomes larger than life so to speak!

I like to be selective in my reality of the past. I CHOOSE what I reflect on. In fact, I’m very much into living in the NOW now. ๐Ÿ™‚ It is just so free here. It’s freeing and JOYful and it releases me from a painful past!

And if I do CHOOSE to look at the past, I am picky and choosey. I select the memories or the realities that I’ve created that make me happy to reflect on. ๐Ÿ™‚

So there’s my tip for the day. And if you get a chance, look into the Work of Byron Katie… it is really awesome. She does amazing work. It is very, very helpful. I know it’s helped a lot of people.

Have a great Day.

My sister Stephanie loves this Margaret Mead quote below and said she thinks of my sister Barb and I when she sees it. How nice. It’s important in life for us to share with others about the impact that they have on us or to just show appreciation for another human being. I think we would all benefit by doing this more often don’t you? ๐Ÿ™‚

Miracles? Always!!!

Miraculous Moments

Just yesterday I was emailing with someone who I believe, is helping me greatly with my miracle-making and miraculous strides in healing my body to pure, complete, and whole health. We were talking about how MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!

I firmly believe that miracles happen all the time! Do you know why and what seals the deal for me? Because I believe we are all a miracle to begin with!

Some people do not believe in miracles and some people, myself included, believe that everything is a Miracle!

Note the key differentiator here. It’s the WORD ‘Believe’!!!

I also believe in divine signs and confirmations and sure enough a confirmation came! I opened this email, just now in the wee hours of the night, and it is from my subscription to the ‘Notes From The Universe’ at http://www.Tut.com . You can too subscribe, if you wish, and you will receive your daily messages from the Universe! They are so lovely and uplifting to receive โค๏ธ

“The reason most people don’t recognize the miracles that are performed on their behalf, Maggie, is because there’s just so bloomin’ many of them.

Like this very momentโ€ฆ

And this oneโ€ฆ

And this oneโ€ฆ

Ahhh-h-h-h,”

  The Universe

So there you have it folks! I hope that you too believe in miracles and that you see them every day and in every way in your JOYous life.

And for fun, I counted the amount of times that the word ‘Believe’ is in this post and it was 7, but it now 8, since adding this paragraph! ๐Ÿ™‚ And you all know that I love the power of words! ๐Ÿ™‚ Never underestimate the power of words my friends. Words are tools at our disposal to use to create miracles in our lives! At least I believe so. Hah, now 9 times! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I love you all!

Listen to The Gifts of Pain!

“Those pains you feel are messengers…. Listen to them.” Rumi

Pain Is a Doorway

Pain. Pain and suffering are inevitable things that we will experience here on Earth, regardless of how much we wish to avoid it.

I try to look at pain as a prompt especially if it’s emotional pain. What is this pain telling me? What is the message? Is there something that I want to be doing that I’m not? Am I fulfilled in my life, or is there something I feel that I am missing? Am I feeling overwhelmed? Under appreciated? What do I really want?

The questions that you can ask are endless but I encourage you to probe and search to see the message that pain has for you. And sometimes when our pain is physical it’s a prompt to make changes or to have more self care. There are always messages behind pain and suffering.

I’m going to do a voice audio right now to explain a little more about how we question ourselves and access our inner guide which is as a tool for higher insight. I will post the link below and be sure to have a great day everyone!

Mind Power, Mindset, POWER Thoughts, thoughts, thoughts are things

Power Thoughts Radaite!

Power Thoughts Are a Tool in Your Kit!

Thoughts are made up of energetic frequecies and are POWERFUL ๐Ÿ”‹ TOOLS to be used wisely.

If you look at this picture and contemplate on it, you WILL see that we are energetic and radiant beings. With that said, we emanate out frequencies from our thoughts and from our feelings. Emotions are indeed Energy-In-Motion.

What makes all of this even more powerful is that our hearts are magnetized and will enhance all of these projected frequencies including our thoughts!

When we realized how magnificent and powerful that we really are, it is ABSOLUTELY Exciting. It’s Empowering! It’s Uplifting.

I encourage you all today to let your eyes soak up this picture and to let your heart beat to the resonance of this incredible power that YOU have!

USE and CHOOSE your thoughts wisely today. Engage your heart โค๏ธ and tap into this incredible force that you have within you!

In summation, I have made a 2 minute audio clip with some further thoughts that you might find helpful about Power Thoughts. In this audio I touch on the range of frequencies as well. It is really good to know this so I hope that you take the few minutes to listen.
