Faithful & Committed
As many of you know, I continually study topics around manifesting, creating, and on designing one’s ideal life.
No matter what I study, there is always an element of faith and trust that is necessary in the magical formulas available to us for creating what we want in our lives.
When we have faith or when we trust, it produces the energy of positive expectation and a belief or knowing that what we want to manifest into our lives, is indeed on its way.
I have learned to lead with trust and faith. For example, as a landlord I trust that I will find the perfect tenants for my units. As a business owner, I trust that I will help the people who most need what I have to offer.
Most of all though, I decided a long time ago to just trust that all things work out for me for my highest good and it works! The more I trust, the more everything flows!
When we worry, we attract more things to cause us worry. Worry is fear expressing itself and is not a pleasant emotion or energy.
Trust and Faith on the other hand, have energies of love and expansion and they feel GREAT!
Worry uses up our precious time and the sweetness of life.
Even anazlyzing the past is a form of worry and attracts more things to worry about now, in the present. We don’t need to figure out why things were the way they were, or why someone told us that when we were 7, or whatever. We can choose to use our free-will and not analyze or try to figure out what caused us pain and then in turn let it cause us more pain again today! Choose to let it go.
I see the time I have left on earth as a window and we know the window of time moves quickly. I personally want to have as much sweetness and as much JOY as I can in the time I have left. Therefore, I trust that things work out for me and I do my absolute best to banish fear and worry out of my life.
I consciously and with purpose use and manage my thoughts and come up with thoughts that are helping me, serving me, making me happy, etc. Thoughts are things and we can create any ones we want! We pick thoughts. Now how cool is that?
I hope you can let more trust and faith into your life and that YOU take charge of YOUR thoughts. You are the boss of YOU so make sure you are a good one. 🙂
And as always, if you are struggling with anxiety or fear, make sure you reach out for help if you feel you need some. Reaching out for help when you need it is actually a sign of strength and it too has the frequency of faith and trust because you are sending out a message of positive expectation about getting the help that you need to feel better and that is a very good thing, so never be afraid to ask for help!

I was walking down my front steps today and on the bottom step there appeared an angel. This stopped me in my tracks and made my heart smile.
It reminded me that sometimes life is tough and we get worn down, like these steps, and that at times angels appear in our lives to helps us.
Angels come in many forms. There are the spirit angels and also the human angels… the people that give us a random smile when we need it most… the person who helps us to quell our fears when they appear…. the kind ladies at the bakery who give a cookie to each child that comes in….. the person who forgives us when we need it most…. the person who brings over a lasagna when you are dealing with the loss of a loved one…. yourself when you have compassion for yourself…..
You see these angel appearances are everywhere and when you start to look you will see them more and more. 🙂
If you are hurting today or you need a kind word, please let me be your Angel today. I send YOU… yes YOU the you that is reading these words right now… I send YOU Blessings and Love and HOPE and Strength. I send all of these things to you.

People are waking up. People are allowing their true potential to rise up and to meet the occasion of life and it is wonderful to see.
In my virtual travels and with conversations I have with clients and friends and family, I really see this shift happening. I think we are starting to really understand that our whole purpose on earth is to ‘be who we are’.
And that my friends is and awesome and beautiful thing. 🙂
I also see digital marketers teaching this to people. They use words like authenticity, be who you are, be audacious, be bold, be unique, but basically they are all saying the same thing:

BE YOU MY FRIENDS, BE YOU!
I will leave you with this thought to ponder on today. How can you be more of YOU? What passions and ideas are lurking inside of your heart? What expressions are you wanting to release?
Do you have words that want to get out and put on paper? Are there things you want your children to know about you and your life before you leave this earth. Do you want to leave a legacy that shows the path of your spirit while you were here on earth.
Is your artistic side of you probing at your heart and wants to be released?
Is your own soul knocking at the door of your life saying let me in or let me out? 🙂
What about that funky hat? Want to wear it today? Do It!

You know I write a lot about this and I will continue to do so. Thoughts are things and we can CHOOSE which ones we want to focus on.
Yes, I know thoughts just randomly pop into our minds and that is okay. It is the ones we entertain that matter.
Think of it this way, if you had a dinner party and some of the guests that you invited were not suited to your way of being, or they were rude or nasty or anything that was negative. Would you keep inviting these people to your table?
NO! So why would we do it with our thoughts?
There is a magical combo that works well but it means that you have to practice self-care as well.
When you have a thought or multiple thoughts that are not serving you, recognize it, and then CHOOSE a new thought. However, with that said it is much easier to do when you are in a place of ‘feeling good’.
Do Things That Make YOU Feel Good
Therefore, do things every day that make you feel good and that show nurturing and caring for your body, mind and spirit. For example, I started my morning by reading more on the power of gratitude in my life. I am sipping on warm lemon water now and I have some peaceful and Zen type of music on.
It doesn’t matter ‘what’ you do, just do things that show you that you are sacred and loved!!!!!
When you feel better about yourself it is much easier to pivot your thoughts when those nasties arise.
So I leave you with the goal of two things today:
- Do MORE things for YOU today that nurture you and make you FEEL GOOD
- Consciously be AWARE of your thoughts and start replacing the nasties with BETTER thoughts.

You might be thinking the above statement is an impossible feat, but I encourage you to think of thoughts in another way and it might be helpful for you.
Thoughts Are Things
We often say that “thoughts are things” and it is true. So if this is indeed true and thoughts are just things just like a coffee cup is a thing, a laptop is a thing, a t-shirt is a thing, etc. etc.
So with that said, if things are things, we may have things in our lives, but we don’t become our things.
Instead we USE our things. We use the coffee cup to drink coffee, or water, or tea, or to drink whatever we decide from it.
We wear the t-shirt but we don’t become obsessed with the t-shirt. We use it for a purpose and we take it off when we want to or when we are done using it for the day.
Therefore, if we looked at thoughts more as things that we can use for what we choose, just like the coffee cup, or the t-shirt we can take them off when we don’t want to think them anymore, just like the t-shirt.
Or in kind, like the laptop we can use our thoughts to formulate sentences, paragraphs, or even entire stories just like a laptop and its programs have the power to do!!
You get the idea here. USE your thoughts (the things) for your highest good and stop using them when they are no longer serving your or causing you pain.
CHOOSE New Thoughts!
The easiest way to pivot your thoughts is to divert them to new ones…. just like things. If you were wearing a t-shirt and spilled something on it, you would go and change it!
So change your thoughts to new ones!

I found it interesting that today is World Gratitude Day because when I discovered it, I was lying in bed doing my morning reading and today I felt the need to go back to the book I am reading called “The Magic” by Rhonda Byrne and it is all about gratitude and using it to create magic in your life.
In fact, I had gone to Facebook to post this picture I made this morning while reading the book… I like to do this as I see quotes that I resonate with.
I thought this was uncanny when after posting this, that I discovered that it was World Gratitude Day.
This is something I am working on diligently…. the art of more gratitude in my life. The magic really does work when you apply the discipline of gratitude in your life. And there really is always something to be grateful for.
I was sharing on a networking call last week my technique that I use when I have challenges and how I turn them around to gratitude. For example, I can give you one for today that uses my technique:
Last night I drained my hot tub and refilled it. Now I have an air lock that I need to fix and it is a bit frustrating. So how I got myself over the frustration (here is the technique), I became grateful for having the hot tub in the first place. I call this ‘getting behind the problem’. I would not have this problem if I was not fortunate enough to have this hot tub!
This strategy always helps me. I have used it in many ways. Another example is when my daughter was little and she was sick and up in the night. Although tired I became grateful that I was gifted a child that I could care for when they were sick. I then became honored to do so because of the gratitude that flooded my body and being.
Gratitude truly is magical and I for one, will be using it more and more and more, because the more you use it, the more you get and the more you get, the more the magic and miracles start occurring in your life.

Here are some affirmations to help with fear and anxiety.
I understand that being human means that I may have fears.
Today I promise myself to let some of that fear go.
I have the courage and strength to push past
my feelings of anxiety.
I have the power in me to get rid of fear and to move toward LOVE.
I will teach my children there is nothing to fear and that life can be JOYous!
I will spread LOVE and not fear.
There is nothing to be afraid of and I trust that things work out for me.
I will not fear the people who surround me and I will send them LOVE.
Today I am braver than yesterday and each day I get stronger and stronger and fear less.
I will no longer be fearful of my life.
I will take control of the fear I feel by feeling it and releasing it.
I will not fear the chances I need to take to
I will try one thing that scared me yesterday and I know it will get easier and easier.
I will replace fearful thoughts with positive and peaceful thoughts.
Fear has no place in my heart.
I will send out positive vibes and expect good vibes back.
Fear is weaker than me and I get stronger every minute.
I am in control of my own fear.
I control my thoughts they don’t control me.
I hope you found these helpful and always remember that the fastest and easiest way to shift any feeling is to use gratitude! By having an attitude of gratitude you can quickly release fearful thoughts and let go of the ‘what ifs’ by focusing on the Now with gratitude.
This morning I got up and went to the bathroom and took a moment to look out the window to the backyard. The sun was shining through the trees and I just took a minute to stop and be in gratitude for that exact moment.
I then intuitively felt the desire to fill my heart with sunshine before I started my day. And I actually felt it!
I thought “Wow, I will start my day like this more often”. I will connect with the sun and bring it into my heart and then start my day.
