I am so proud of you my Sivanna Rose. I know this year has been extra challenging and it makes your graduation even more special.
You have gone from my baby 👣 girl to a beautiful young woman about to embark on your next educational journey, High School.
I admire your courage, your strength and your dedication to learning and growing. You show me the miracle of life just by being you and what I most admire about you is your kind and loving heart.
Mom and Dad are so proud of you and we love you so very much. The future is bright my girl. 🙂
“I am spending delightful afternoons in my garden, watching everything living around me. As I grow older, I feel everything departing, and I love everything with more passion.”
Emile Zola (1840 – 1902), in the year of his death.

Life is sweet and yet it is also a bittersweet journey.
This morning while doing my morning reading, I found the quote above and thought I would blog about it. It is uncanny that as I went to prepare this blog post, I realized today was the day my mother died in 1993.
I can still remember on that day, the lilacs in full bloom in the tree in her parking lot at the apartment building she lived in.
I love this quote and it reminds me to enJOY the gift of life and the gift of each day.
I am delighted to see so many people starting to enJOY flowers, plants and gardening. It seems as though people are awakening to the exact energy of this quote and it is beautiful indeed.
I will keep this quote handy to remind me of the sweetness of life and also as a reminder to appreciate the gift of another day.

Why Happiness?
The question is why not happiness? 🙂
Happiness is our birthright and is really an underlying desire of most people.
For example when we desire things for other people like our children, we are really wanting them to just be happy……like wanting them to graduate from a good school, or to land a great job, underneath it all, what we really, really want is for them to be happy.
We want this for ourselves too. When we can show our children that we are happy, we teach them that happiness is natural. Many people today feel that happiness is some far away and unreachable place, and that is unfortunate.
“There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way.”
Thich Nhat Hanh
I highly recommend putting happiness on your daily check list. What are some things that you can do to increase your happiness so that you are happier and you infuse the natural art of happiness into those around your too?
Some ideas:
. laugh at yourself
. laugh at life
. watch funny movies
. have a conversation with an upbeat friend who likes to joke and laugh
. make happiness a goal
. seek happiness (what you seek seeks you)
. show kindness toward others.. this always infuses happiness within us
. spend time with young children
. do art
. go skinny dipping
. walk in nature
. gaze at the stars
The list is endless. Do whatever helps to make you happy and happier. Do the things that bring you JOY!
Picture Quote: “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” – Dr. Seuss
As a teacher of JOY, I am often sharing ways with others on how to shift their frequency to a more JOYful place.
Memories
One of the ways, is by using memories. Memories, just like thoughts, can be tools. Tools can empower us or dis-empower us. An example that I often use is that a hammer can build a home or destroy a home.
It is the same thing with our thoughts and memories. We can use them as catalysts for JOY or we can reflect on the pain or loss and then we continue to suffer. And I am not talking about grieving here. Grieving is important and is personal and different for everyone.
I am talking about life and how it continues to change and evolve.

We can smile for the experiences we have had or for the memories and we can CHOOSE which ones we focus on and give our attention too. Why not consciously decide and choose that you will recall the ones that make you the happiest?
I know it is not always easy, but the more we can become an active participant in deciding what thoughts or memories we allow to run through our mind, the more control we have of our frequency.
And I don’t know about you, but I much prefer happy thoughts, memories and more JOY! And this is not to say that I have not had many, many painful experiences, I just choose which ones I give me energy and attention to. 🙂
I hope you too choose the ones that make you smile. 🙂

Yesterday, June 14th, was my late parents anniversary. ♥ Happy Anniversary ♥
My parents have been gone since 1993, and 1995, however, every June, I think of them and also about how much I have come to love the month of June. 🙂
💜June is such a beautiful month for many reasons. 💜
In my part of the world, it is when our summer starts and our days are long. We have daylight right up to around 11pm. And there are not too many bugs at this time of year.
And let me not forget to mention, the lilacs and butterflies are out and both of these things makes me extremely happy.
My mom died in the month of June and I remember the lilacs being abundant at that time. This makes me appreciate them even more so. Their scent now is truly ‘heaven scent/sent’ 🙂

That is all for today my friends. I hope you too find the beauty in life that is here for us to enJOY. Every day, every month and every year of our precious life offers us gifts. We just need to take the time to see them and to enJOY them.

And sending ᏝᎧᏉᏋ up above and all around to you two:
“Energy is everything. You can control your vibration and energy with your thoughts.
Love is the ultimate healer and transformer of energy, and guilt and shame are the lowest frequency emotions.”
Christie Marie Sheldon
I love the work of Christie Marie Sheldon and I apply it to my own life on a daily basis. Of course, some days are easier than others. 🙂
Guilt & Shame
I have been a person who my entire life, has worked at moving away from guilt and shame. Guilt and shame can come in many forms. Even inadequacy can make one feel guilty or shameful.
I decided to write about this today to help us all to become more aware of our emotions and how they affect us.
For exampe, in his book “Power Verses Force”, Dr. David Hawkins has an emotional chart that shows the calibration of energy when it comes to emotions. It is referred to as a ‘Scale of Consciousness’. On this scale, guilt and shame are at the very bottom of the scale. What is on the top? Enlightenment and under that Peace, JOY, and Love.
So the lowest is Shame and the highest is Enlightenement.
Dr. David Hawkins The Vibrations Scale
When we understand that emotions can be scaled and that the higher that we vibrate on that scale, the more we will attract into our lives positive experiences and feelings, the more important it becomes to actively and purposely move ourselves up the scale.
One of the easiest ways to shift your frequency and to move up the scale is to find gratitude in things. I always try to start my day in gratitude and today was no exception. Here is a picture of my morning. This is Bella, my cat, lying on my chest, purring away while I laid in bed and enJOYed the start of my day.
Not only did I enJOY Bella’s cuddles but I fed my mind its morning breakfast by listening to some of the work of Christie Marie which inspired me to write this blog post.
My pretty Calico cat named Bella lying on my chest on the wake of a beautiful and glorious new day here on earth.
It is always important to remember that “Thoughts are Things”. This is the core concept of my Infinite Possibilties work that I share with students and clients. It is very important to understand this and to use your thoughts as tools to enhance your life rather than to be a detriment to your happiness and well-being.
The best thoughts you can have to heal and transform are loving thoughts. Gratitude is a loving thought. Blessing something is a very high vibration and a loving thought. By thinking kind thoughts of both yourself and others, you can transform your world and the lives of others, and in turn the entire planet.
Become a master of your thoughts and be sure to feed your mind on a daily basis. By feeding your mind positive and uplifting information you also change your frequency and feed your soul.
