Just Be Kind & Do Good

“I cannot do all the good that the world needs. But the world needs all the good that I can do”. Jana Stanfield

When we all practice kindness and goodness the world is much sweeter.

We need sweetness in the world right now.

DonsWords, love

♥ Your HEART is where LOVE lives. ♥

My honey is an amazing man full of Love. He wrote a list of “Words To Live By” back in January of this year and this was one of the ones on the list. It is his quote and I quite like it.

♥ Your HEART is where LOVE lives. ♥ Don Perry

If we really think about it, I am sure we can all ‘feel’ how true this is. Think of when you see a picture of a baby or small child in JOY. Your heart just swells.

Our hearts lift and expand when we feel JOY or feel LOVING thoughts or when we see BEAUTIFUL things.

When we live in and from our heart centers, we get to experience the true gift of life.

Free Spirit, Free!

Let Your ♥ Spirit Soar ♥

˜”°•.˜”°• Spirit Soar •°”˜.•°”˜

Woman on a swing soaring and being FREE as a bird…

What does your spirit want? Does it want to be FREE? Then let it be free.

Does it want to SOAR? Then let it soar.

Does it want LOVE? Then just ♥ Love ♥ yourself and ♥ Love ♥ others.

Does it want ART? Then just do art. 🎀 𝒶𝓇𝓉 🎀

What does it want? What does it want? What do you want?

Listen. Listen. Listen.

Our souls just want us to be happy and free. I think sometimes we are what or who stands in our own way.

So many of us are at home reflecting at this time. How about just going with your spiritual flow and let your spirit soar? I hope you do my friends. I hope you do.

Emotional Health, emotions

Allow Deep Emotional Connections at This Time

A woman sitting on a wall enJOYing the sun and reflecting on her emotions.

It’s Okay to Feel

I was in a business FB group today and the topic came up about how people are much more emotional these days and rightly so!

It made me reflect on the fact that, I too, have been much more emotional. For those of us staying at home, I think we are all experiencing this and it is not necessarily a bad thing.

Maybe there are things we need to clear out and move or to heal and now is a good time for that. People are clearing out their houses and painting rooms, but we can also clear out any emotional baggage as well. If it is no longer serving us it can GO!

One of the ways to help with the movement of emotions or energy in motion, is to allow the emotions to surface and to let them come out. You can do this is positive ways as well.

For example, on my daughter’s birthday last week, I cried multiple times. I cried for the JOY we created together as a family as we celebrated her birthday together. I know this will be the one birthday that she will probably remember the most. We laughed, we cried and we enJOYed.

We even had a treasure hunt in the house. I put notes, a few gifts, that luckily I had bought and wrapped prior to this pandemic (which is unusual for me ) :-), and I hid pictures of her when she was young. She was thrilled finding these old pictures!

So many people came by to leave gifts on the steps or to wave and every time it was soooo moving. And I allowed the emotions to surface within myself. I allowed….

Many people are telling me that they are being emotionally moved by the compassion and kindness they see in the world at this time. This is another great way to allow and to move emotion.

I am enJOYing seeing people painting, playing their guitars, singing, and taking on projects that they had left of the back burner of life. That moves me too!

♥ What about you? ♥

Are you tapping into your emotional side and allowing? Are you deciding which emotions to keep and which ones no longer serve you? I hope so.

I really believe that we will emerge as a brand new butterfly when we bust out of this cocoon. 🙂 Can you see the new and beautiful YOU? I can.

Much Love to All!

resilience

Resilience in Tough Times

“No matter how much falls on us, we keep plowing ahead. That’s the only way to keep the roads clear.”
― Greg Kincaid

“When the going gets tough, the tough get going”. Billy Ocean

Resilience and endurance are amazing qualities.

I love quotes and I find that they give me strength. These quotes are indeed helping me at this time in history.

I was thinking back today to a time when I met someone who shared with me how much they loved and embraced change. Until that moment, I had never seen change as something to embrace. The comments from this gentlemen were instrumental in helping me to see change in a whole different way.

It was even more profound coming from this person, because he has just experienced something very horrific. I remember thinking that if he could embrace change, then anyone could and I flipped my switch in that very moment.

Now, I am more of an adapter in my life. I accept ‘what is’ and I keep my focus and excitement on where I am headed. I totally understand that, for myself, looking at what was or what I had is futile. It’s all about what I have to work with NOW and how I will use that to create my new reality. My new and bright future. 💥

I guess this is my definition of resilience.

I will close my blog today and I hope you are able to find resilience in your life at this time. Keep your thoughts focused on the positive and the hopeful side. We always, always, have a choice as to where we turn our attention. 🙂

Stay strong everyone and I send you much LOVE~

Squeeze Out The ♥ JOY ♥ Even in Tough Times

I shared a quote on Facebook today, along with some additional thoughts of my own.

Here was the quote:

“Every situation in life is temporary. So, when life is good, make sure you enJOY and receive it fully. And when life is not so good, remember that it will not last forever and better days are on the way.” Anonymous

My addition to it:

And if you want to take it to the next level, try to EnJOY it even when it is not so called “Good” … we can never get lost time back so let’s squeeze as much JOY out of EVERY moment that we can even when it is challenging. When it seems hard to do, look for things to be grateful for, think of who you Love and who Loves you, Smile at Beautiful memories, send Inspiration and Hope to others, listen to Happy music, take pictures of the sky, notice how blue the sky is, Love up your pet, drink a glass of water all while appreciating that you have clean water to drink, …… the list is endless. Use your internal power and focus wisely.

Can you add to this list? Why not get out a pen and paper or grab your phone and use your Note feature to jot down some more things. I promise you if you do, you will feel so good and that sounds pretty darn good right about now, doesn’t it? 🙂
