As we head into 2020, why don’t you get really clear on what you want to bring more of into your life?
For me I am focusing on better organization and focus. I am learning that we live in a sea of information overload so there is a great need for focus! I even have a little note on my computer that says “Focus & Patience”. This is to remind me to focus on my task at hand and to be patient with the outcomes and the tasks themselves. As a person who wears many hats, runs multiple businesses, and is a lover of learning, I tend to get overwhelmed and usually have too many projects on the go at once…… So…
I am clear that in 2020, which in Numerology adds up to a year of ‘4’ is a perfect time to start on being more organized and focused. The number 4 holds a frequency of structure, order and solid foundations 🙂
Yesterday I spent the day catching up on office work and organizing by making file folders for projects, cleaning up odds and ends, making notes and such, and paying bills. Is this my favorite thing to do? Nope, I love to be a “Creative” and write and such, but this stuff needs to be done too. How I solved this struggle, which is real, lol, is by getting creative in my organizing process and also telling myself that focus and organization are going to allow me to be the best Creative ever! 🙂 And so far it’s working.
I have learned that when we can get enthused about a task, even if we don’t like it, it helps to make it easier to do and it always flows better.
I hope you ring in this new decade with 20/20 vision, clarity, and enthusiasm, and that you make your life and your dreams the priority that they deserve.
I am wishing you all the best and 𝓗𝓐𝓟𝓟𝓨 𝓝𝓔𝓦 𝓨𝓔𝓐𝓡 𝓣𝓞 𝓐𝓛𝓛!
This is a picture I made with my Christmas tree in the background. I love looking at the Christmas tree and thinking about all of the Love that has surrounded it over the years. Of course, each ornament has significance and makes the tree even more special because of them.
I sometimes just sit and think about many people’s Christmas trees and how they display a lifetime of stages and memories. As I gaze at my own tree, which is right beside me now, I see ornaments given to me by my mother who passed in 1993. I see a few “Baby’s First Christmas”. I see handmade ornaments by my daughter. I see ornaments made each year for Sivanna, my daughter, by her Grandmother by Heart, Joyce. I see many ornaments with special memories….. too many to list.
But what I see most of all, is LOVE. The warmth and glow of the tree and the fire reminds me of that inner and outer glow of Love. We gather in Love, we celebrate in Love and we Rejoice in Love.
Every year I host Christmas Eve at my house and this year was spectacular! Everyone had fun and there were smiles and Love all around. I know why though. I know the secret to why it was so wonderful and why it gets better every year…. it’s because we are appreciating it and each other more and more every year and it just makes it more enriched each and every year.
One of my most favorite things to see is the tradition being instilled in my daughter. As we prepare for the occasion she automatically knows to get out the serving platter for the turkey, our special cutting board given to us by Baba, aka Big Audrey (because there is a little Audrey), the fine china and to tidy the bathroom and whatever else we need to do. At these times I smile with my heart and it swells in the knowing that she will one day be fondly sharing memories of times past and of how much Love and JOY were in them. And the she too will be hosting the next generation with Love in her heart too!
Here I am in my kitchen with ‘the cutting’ board and my Santa apron given to me also by Baba one yearl
When I am long gone from this world, I would want anyone reading this who knows and loves me and has been a part of these glorious occasions to know how much I Love putting these on and preparing the food with Love for all of you to enJOY. My eyes are leaking as I type this and I am grateful that I can write things like this to express my feelings of JOY and APPRECIATION. I am also grateful for all of you in my life who Love me and show me all the time. I love you all!
Merry Christmas and may you always celebrate with JOY in your heart!
My eyes are still half closed and filled with sleep. My hair is complete bed head and I haven’t brushed my teeth. I had to get out of bed to get this message typed up while my connection to it was still strong, even though I am sleepy lol!
Just before waking this morning I had a visit from a departed loved one. They gave me a message to share with all whose eyes and hearts want to both see it and to hear it. They said it was especially important at this time of year.
After letting me know how much they loved me and that we are all loved always by our loved ones on the other side, they told me they were with my Moobs, who was my cat that died 14 years ago and just two weeks before my daughter was born. This was important because I was petting and loving my current cat Bella who was laying on top of me in bed. It was important because it signified an important message that they wanted me to know and to share with you reading this.
It goes something like this:
There is always something or someone to love. When you love or show appreciation to anything or anyone, it activates the frequency of Love within you and you remember ‘who you are’. We need to know that we are always loved, we are Love and that there is always something or someone to direct our love to. This was very important for them to share. This is why the cats were significant. My Moobs has been gone for 14 years, but I now have a Bella to Love and to show my Love to! And that there are countless people or animals in the world that we can show our Love to!
They stressed to me that there are ALWAYS places to direct our Love to, so that we can activate the Love frequency within ourselves. When we activate this frequency in ourselves we heal ourselves and we heal the world and spread more Love and JOY.
It was also impressed upon me that if you do not currently have people or pets in your life to project your love to, you can do it in other ways. One is by enJOYing memories of your departed loved ones. They stressed to me in a big way, that it is important to experience the memories through a kaleidoscope of love and JOYful remembering. They said that we we need to know that this is okay to do this and that in fact it is great to do!They reiterated that when we remember them with Love and JOY within our hearts, it makes it the most effective way to activate the Love frequency and to ignite the JOY in our souls. When we do this remembering with JOY and Love in our hearts it fills up our heart and soul right now while we are here on earth! And a side note is to understand the word remembering or re-membering. It is a regrouping of sorts that re-embodies something. So a JOYful memory or remembering reconnects you to that body of mutual Love.
They also wanted me to share that another way we can activate the love frequency is by loving things. Now we need to understand that this is not the love of acquiring things but more so about appreciating the things that you enJOY, whatever they might be. For example art, your favorite cup, a blanket, the blue sky…. anything that activates the frequency of Love within you! Appreciation is the fast track to activating Love within you.
While writing this I thought of the JOY my friend ‘s Mom Eva had the other day while she showed me all the Christmas cards she got. Her face lit up as she picked up each card and told me how beautiful it was and who it was from. She also showed me a snowman that her neighbor had given her. She was thrilled with it. The added bonus was that she did not know it lit up but I saw the little button on the bottom. So she turned it on and both she and the snowman were glowing! 🙂 It was a site to see.
A snowman ornament glowing from within
It came to me that when we show appreciation for the things like Eva’s Christmas cards given to her, and the snowman, we activate that frequency of appreciation and ultimately Love. This is really awesome because we then connect to the love given to us from the giver and we receive it with Love and Appreciation. It’s win win and a beautiful thing. I took great delight is seeing Eva, who is 79, enJOY her cards and the snowman. Eva just recently lost two sisters, her spouse and her son was in hospital that day so her heart was heavy. These small acts of kindness from others made a huge difference and I saw how powerful they were.
To my departed Loved One… you know who you are. Thank you for visiting today. I am sure we all appreciate the beautiful message you brought this morning. I know I did. My heart is swelling with Love for you and I am receiving your Love now. I will look for that sign that you have promised me at this time of year, and that you have sent every single year since you returned to the spirit world. 🙂
And for all of my friends reading this, I hope this message has brought you a gift of Love or HOPE or whatever it is that would bring you PEACE at this time of year. I am sending you much LOVE right now and I promise you that each word, while typing this out, has been filled with more LOVE than you will every know! Merry Christmas my friends.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

I am so trying to be more compassionate with myself. What about you? Are you able to enJOY the version of you right now? Or do you struggle with longing for a former version of yourself or a future version of you?
What if we just stopped this madness and got ok with us right now? I was chatting with my hair dresser the other day and was mentioning that I had gained weight and she had mentioned she had lost some. I shared with her how I was deciding to be okay with the fact that I had gained weight because I know that at the end of my life I will absolutely think that I wish I hadn’t wasted so much of my life worrying or beating myself up. I am sure I would wish I had used those precious moments of life to be happy rather than having negative feelings about myself. She agreed. 🙂
And we all go through these things. We gain, we lose, we change habits, we fall off of our tracks, we get back on, etc. etc. This applies to anything in our life. Healthy habits, positive thinking, working out, being kind to ourselves or not….. the cycle just continues…. We all go up and down in these cycles but really we are always just doing the best we can at the time we are doing it.
What if we just STOPPED? Stopped the madness of judging ourselves and others and turned to JOY and acceptance? What is we turned to Compassion and Kindness for self and others?
WOW, I think it would make a huge difference. Don’t you? 🙂
I wish whoever is reading this, personal peace, self-love, kindness and most of all lots of LOVE!
Here are some cool facts about the last full moon of the decade according to an article by CBS:
“December’s full moon is marking the end of the decade in a unique way. It will reach peak fullness at 12:12 a.m. Eastern time on the 12th day of the 12th month of the year, according to NASA.
The full moon each December is sometimes known as the “Cold Moon,” appearing as the Northern Hemisphere enters its coldest month of the year.
According to the Farmer’s Almanac, the Algonquin tribes in the northern and eastern United States first named December’s full moon the Cold Moon. It’s also been called the Long Night Moon by Europeans because of its proximity to the winter solstice — the longest night of the year.”
Yesterday was crazy for me seeing the numbers 1 and 2. For example this was when I got in my car. And yes that is minus 22 degrees…. brr it’s cold where I am 🙂
I also love that December 12, 2019 which adds up to 12 12 12 is also 3 3 3…..because even 2019 adds up to 12. So 12=(3) 12=(3) 12=(3) because 1 plus 2 is 3! I love it!
333 is what some say is the Christ Consciousness or Awakening. I truly believe this. I have been seeing 333 often for many years now and do feel as though I am awakening to a higher realm in my knowing and manifesting in life. I do believe that I am divinely guided and supported in every way. Bring on the Angels!
This full moon and last one of the decade is surely a transitioning moon to bigger and better things. Here is the secret: If you believe it to be it will be. That’s how the magic works. 🙂
I am also fascinated and mesmerized by the moon. I was last night and I am sure I will be tonight too! The picture in this blog post was one I took of the full moon on the night of the winter solstice last year. I just love this picture.

Going through life in a happy state makes life so much easier. I’ve bet you’ve seen people stay positive and happy while going through tragic situations. You’ve seen images from around the world of people with absolutely nothing, yet they are smiling and laughing.
Have you ever wondered how these people can be happy despite everything that’s happening to them and those they love?
It’s because they choose to be happy.
According to Marcus Aurelius, “Happiness depends on the quality of your thoughts.” Scientists have been studying happiness for a long time and there is a consensus that Marcus’s view is correct. I am all about thoughts and controlling our thoughts. My own quote is “I control my thoughts, they don’t control me”. 🙂
So, instead of asking why these people are happy, maybe we should be asking how can we be happy, regardless of any circumstance?
Here are a few ways to help you find more happiness.
Take Control
If something is making you unhappy, know that you have the power to change it and to change your thoughts about it. Do it right away! Don’t give it more time to drag you down. Start taking action to address the issue and fix it.
If you’re unhappy with a situation or a person and you have no way to change it, ask yourself if you really need it in your life? Is this person or situation serving your for you highest good? Sometimes you have to let go in order to be happy.
Find a Solution
If there’s a problem, there is a solution and that is awesome news! You may not have the power to fix the problem, but someone does. Find the solution and implement it. Remember, sometimes the solution is acceptance. This is especially true if the real solution requires someone else to accomplish it. Accept that you need help and ask for it. Your happiness is worth it.
Don’t Disregard Your Emotions
It’s never a good idea to hide your true feelings when it comes to happiness. Being happy doesn’t mean you’re void of other emotions. It means being content and in charge of as much of your life as possible. Feel the feelings but move toward feelings and thoughts that make you feel good.
Live Without Expectations & Judgments
One of the biggest killers of happiness is expectations. When you make decisions and do things without expecting something in return, you give yourself the freedom to make choices based on what you want, rather than what others say you should want. You take control of your decisions. You reduce the chances of feeling anger or disappointment in the expected outcome. You allow yourself to live in the moment and enjoy life. And actively work at letting go of judging things, people, etc. Judging immediately takes your frequency to a place that is the opposite of Love and freedom.
And Finally
If you’re still not convinced, look around the world. You’ll see many people who have much less than you and yet are still happy. It may seem they have no real reason to be happy and yet they are. You too can be happy. You just need to set your mind to it. Work each day to feel gratitude. Take control of what you can and don’t worry about what you cannot. Enjoy the life you’ve been given. And always remember “there is no road to happiness, happiness is the road.”
With the holidays fast approaching why not start thinking about a gift that you would like to give yourself this holiday season? I bet you are already thinking or have already gotten gifts for other people in your life. I bet you are super kind to others and are always thinking of them and how to make their lives happier, better, and more enJOYable. But what about you? What about a gift for you?
And the gift I am talking about for you needs no wrapping paper, is environmentally friendly, and when you receive and use the gift you give yourself, it helps you and the entire world! Now how is that for an awesome gift? 🙂
What is the Gift? It’s the gift of whatever you need to give yourself to release any emotional pain that you have. Maybe it’s the gift of compassion or the gift of forgiveness or the gift of don’t be too hard on yourself. Whatever it is, it is important that you give yourself the gift and that you receive it with open and loving arms. And by giving to yourself, you have more to give. As the saying goes “fill up your own cup first”. 🙂
I hope you take up my suggestion and that you carry your gift in your heart every day moving forward in your life. Life is meant to be JOYous and sometimes we are the very ones who block our channel for JOY by beating ourselves up or by not forgiving ourselves or whatever else we do that continues the cycle of personal pain.
May your heart be light, your holiday JOYous, and always remember some of the best gifts don’t come under the tree. 🙂
