“The first to forget is the happiest”… WOW!

I saw this picture quote on Facebook this morning and it rocked my world. It made me reflect on these statements.

Am I good at apologizing? Am I good at forgiving? How about forgetting?

I won’t share with you all of my thoughts around this, but I will tell you that this post has inspired me to look at all of these in my own life.

I think my favorite is indeed the last one. Over the years, I have gotten better at forgetting. I am at a place that I really don’t care about yesterday. I care about right now and what I am creating in my life now and what I will enJOY tomorrow.

I often say… if something hurt me in the past already, why oh why would I ever let it hurt me again today, in the Now? No way! I’m not giving up the beauty of today because it’s being robbed from me by yesterday or yesteryear. I have control over how I let yesterday or thoughts of yesterday affect me today.

Full speed ahead. In JOY and LOVE. And I will work more on those first two points too! I want freedom and I want JOY in my life. What about YOU?

Today’s the day! It is “World Kindness Day”. I love celebrating kindness any day but today is extra special so of course I could not not blog about it.

How I See JOY

To me JOY, which is said to be a vibration higher than even LOVE ❤ , is LOVE ❤ expressing itself. That is how I see JOY. It is also why I strive for more JOY in my life every day!

When I think of young children singing, dancing, giggling, and being silly, I think of JOY.

Exuberant children having fun at the beach… being silly.

When I think of a proud parent, I think of JOY expressing itself.

When I think of a couple newly in LOVE, ❤ I think of JOY.

When I think of a couple anticipating the birth of their child, a new life, I think of JOY.

When I think of FREEDOM, I think of JOY.

JOY is amazing. JOY has the power to open our hearts and expand our LOVE. ❤ And I LOVE ❤ that because we are LOVE. ❤ We were born in and from LOVE ❤ and we will return to LOVE. ❤

JOY also enhances our immune system, stimulates our creativity and has a positive impact on everyone around us and the world. JOY is an emotion that can transform fear also. JOY can free one from their own pain and suffering. JOY can help FREE oneself from limiting beliefs and ideals. When you strive for JOY you can never go wrong.

Find JOY in the simple things. Seek JOY and it will find you.

Have Yourself a Good Ol Love-Fest!

I saw this quote and liked it. And I might add we could exchange the word ‘friends’ with ‘family’ or ‘pets’ or fill in the blank. Love is the glue that makes this quote sticky. 🙂

Love is what we all want. ❤ ❤ ❤ Love is who we are.

It’s so simple really. If we want more Love, give more Love.

I have a new saying now: “Love-Fest“. This weekend I got to meet for the first time my FB Paul Lufteneggar as well as several other people I had met through Paul, through FB, and it was awesome to meet these beautiful souls and have a big ol Love-Fest!

While in Toronto attending the event Paul put on, I also got to spend time with my sister Stephanie. My daughter, Sivanna and I spent quite a bit of time with Aunty Stephie just being and it too was a huge Love-Fest!

I am going to wrap up this blog post by planting the seed of opening up our hearts and minds to simply enJOYing the company of the beautiful people in our life and Lovin them all up! I wish for you many Love-Fests and much JOY today and always and in all ways! 🙂

The Small Things ARE The Big Things

This morning a friend and I were having a telephone conversation. It came around to the topic of how important appreciation is. We were actually discussing business and life.

Somehow we ended up talking about the simple acts of kindness that make a huge difference. My friend, Teresa, mentioned that she often offers solicitors that come to her door, in the hot summer, water, or a snack. She mentioned one particular time when she gave one solicitor a few Kind bars and a bottle of water. He was so happy he didn’t even care that she didn’t want what he was selling. lol 🙂

But all joking aside, the small acts of kindness DO make the biggest difference. I started talking about things such as offering food or drinks to the people that come to your home to service or repair your home’s ailments, giving up your seat on public transit, or a smile from a random stranger when you need it most . There are so many small acts of kindness that do make a huge difference.

I said you can give someone a million dollars and think that is a huge deal but sometimes just that smile that you need on a day when you feel you can’t go on anymore is an even bigger deal! That random smile could really save a life.

We both started to cry in this conversation and that is when I really knew how big of a deal small, random acts of kindness are.

Make you find it in your heart today to both give and receive kindness……. ❤ ❤ ❤

Wow. I love this quote! In a nutshell, we just need to be us … being us. I love it!

I discovered this a few years back. Who was I? A life coach? What type? A business coach? A speaker? A writer? A healer? And the list went on. NO I realized and shouted to myself “I am ME being ME“… ME inspiring others through coaching, writing, healing, words, speaking, blogging, etc….. It was a beautiful moment when it clicked. 🙂 I got that it wasn’t about ‘what’ I was being, but about ‘who’ I was being.

Maybe take some time today to reflect on ‘who’ you are and encourage yourself to let you be the full and biggest and best version of you being YOU!

New Beginnings

Every moment is a new beginning for me.

As people, we tend to hop around with our thoughts between our so called past reality or what we believe to be true and the present moment. The present moment is where the true power and magic lies. The present moment is the powerful pivot point that we can consciously use to choose in which direction we want to go.

Do you find yourself beating yourself up over something? Or maybe you are running a track of negative feelings and comparing these to your past experiences.

When we recognize that this moment is BRAND NEW, it gives us power to pivot.. to change the moment… to change the energetic frequency of this moment, which in turn can change the vibration from negative to positive or from disgust to Love! This is wonderful to know.

By using the above affirmation “Every moment is a new beginning for me”, it can serve as a tool to disrupt our negative thinking or patterns and help us to remember that we have more power and control than we think!
